You may want to try a more recent version. The outdated version of Ghostscript available below may not work on 10.5 or later. If anybody else wants to take over, I'd be happy to assist. Supporting StyleWriters is very low on my priority list right now. Thanks to Wolf Drechsel for finding this. If your StyleWriter only prints intermittently or stops in the middle of a print job, and the system log (/Applications/Utilities/Console) shows "AppleSCCSerial: gTimerCanceled set to Zero", try turning off fax reception.

Apparently Mac OS X 10.3's fax reception feature can interfere with the StyleWriter software.

I have tested it myself with a StyleWriter II and have received reports of it working with Color StyleWriters 24.
